Cathedral Singers
The music at the 5:30 p.m. Sunday evening Mass has always been a hallmark at the Cathedral. Today it has two main components: a professional instrumental ensemble, which includes piano, synthesizer, and a variety of instruments (guitar, oboe, flute, violin, cello, etc.), and a choir, “The Cathedral Singers.”
The Cathedral Singers rehearse on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and sing on most Sundays of the year (except during a summer break) at the 5:30 p.m. Mass, along with Good Friday, The Easter Vigil and the Vigil Mass of Christmas Eve.
