If you are interested in knowing more about the Catholic Church and possibly becoming Catholic, you are invited to be part of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This is the Catholic Church's means of welcoming new members. The RCIA process here at the Cathedral will begin on Sunday morning, September 27 at 9:30 AM in the Residence. RCIA is a process designed for individuals who are considering joining the Catholic Church. Adults who have not been baptized and those who have been baptized in other Christian denominations are invited to explore the Catholic faith through a process of study, reflection, worship, and service. The Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) are usually celebrated at the Easter Vigil. Volunteers are needed as sponsors to share their faith and to accompany the Candidates and Catechumens on their journey of faith.
